Simple ways to STRENGTHENING your IMMUNE SYSTEM includes letting go of fear and sharing hugs freely.
HUGS
It’s wondrous what a hug can do.
A hug can cheer you when you’re blue.
A hug can say, “I love You so”
Or, “I hate to see you go.”
A hug is “Welcome back again,”
And “Great to see you! Where’ve you been?”
A hug can soothe a small child’s pain,
And bring a rainbow after rain.
The hug, there’s just no doubt about it—
We scarcely could survive without it!
A hug delights and warms and charms,
It must be why God gave us arms.
Hugs are great for fathers and mothers,
Sweet for sisters, swell for brothers;
And chances are your favorite aunts
Love them more than potted plants.
Kittens crave them, puppies love them;
Heads of states are not above them.
A hug can break the language barrier,
And make travel so much merrier.
No need to fret about your store of them;
The more you give, the more there’s more of them.
So stretch those arms without delay
And give someone a hug today!

As the seas of the world are rough right now
Let’s remember to build bridges, not walls.
Let’s sow seeds of hope, peace and love.
Let’s foster kindness, trust and tolerance.
Let’s remember that each one of us can make a difference.
We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean.
But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.

Elderberry syrup is a delicious and healthy way to support your IMMUNE SYSTEM. One of its additional great benefits is its ANTI-CATARRHAL action. This means it helps to prevent mucous formation and aids in the removal of excess mucous. This is especially useful at this time of the year, when so many of us are dealing with colds, runny noses and coughs, all of which are accompanied by an excess of mucous production.
Elderberry syrup is safe for children and can be taken straight, added to soda water, smoothies, beverages, ice cream, yogurt etc.
ACTIONS:
Immune System Support/Stimulant – Anti-Viral – Anti-catarrhal – Anti-Inflammatory
INDICATIONS:
Colds – Flu – Fever (reduces symptoms and duration) – Upper Respiratory Infections – Allergies – Urinary Tract Infections

Once again, I feel the need to address the importance of critical thinking. Falling prey to blindly believing and following the common narrative can be, not only detrimental but also dangerous.
The past year has been turbulent and challenging, and unfortunately many people still live in fear. Fear of what?
It is a well-known fact that we have the tendency to seek out information that confirms what we believe and want to hear. For example, if I believe that masks are effective in stopping the spread of a virus, I will find information including studies and statistics that support this view. On the other hand, if I believe the opposite, I will seek the information that suggests, that face masking is not effective. Who is right and who is wrong? You decide.
I just want to raise a few topics and questions to inspire critical thinking.
– Did you know that AHS reports ZERO cases of influenza this year in Alberta? This makes me wonder about a lot of things. You can see the statistics at the link below as well as the numbers for the previous season. https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/influenza/influenza.aspx#data
– Do you know that censorship has become a common occurrence?
– Are you aware of the slogan from the World Economic Forum (WEF): “You will own nothing, and you will be happy”? This reflects their vision of our future (whoever “they” are).
– Did you know that the WEF wants to make wristbands mandatory to be able to track a person’s activities, whereabouts etc.?
– Have you ever wondered what the decisions for lock downs are based on?
– How many infections are the result of visits to museums, libraries, swimming pools etc.?
– Have you ever thought about the fact that never in the history healthy people had to quarantine?
– The same holds true for testing of healthy people. Why are so many people being tested?
– Do you spend more time deciding on what clothes to wear or what car to buy than looking into/researching what you are putting into your body (including foods and the “jabs”)?
– Are you aware of the fact that the new wireless network will interfere with many normal functions of our body including the ability to utilize oxygen?
– …
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of educating ourselves by using our critical mind and questioning the common narrative instead of blindly trusting what we are being told by governments and people in positions of “authority”.
Green Blessings and stay warm,
Gudrun
Here are some tips and simple home remedies to support the body in overcoming this affliction regardless of what causes the cough.
1. Cut out all mucous forming foods, especially dairy and wheat as well as all foods you know you are sensitive to.
2. Change your diet to at least 70% raw and drink lots of carrot juice and green smoothies.
3. Drink lots of good water – city water is typically full of chemicals and not recommended for consumption on a regular basis.
4. Keep the chest warm with appropriate clothing.
5. Apply poultices to the chest, i.e. onion poultice or castor oil pack (see DVD “Herbal Pharmacy for Everyone”, Disc 2 for instructions)
6. Cough Syrup – homemade, simple yet effective:
Cut up an onion, place in glass jar and cover with honey (honey can be hard; the juice of the onion will liquefy the honey).
Let sit for several hours to several days and strain. Take 1 tsp. as needed.
7. Herbs to use are the ones with anti-microbial properties such as Garlic and Thyme and expectorants for example Mullein (Verbascum thapsus), Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and Fenugreek seed (Trigonella foenum-graecum).
You can find good combination teas for the support of the respiratory system at the health food stores.
Finally, I believe, I have found the answer to a question that has been puzzling me for years. Why is it that many gluten-sensitive people or even celiacs can eat bread in Europe without experiencing any reactions, but get sick or at least have symptoms of indigestion when they consume bread in North America?
Breads in Europe are made with yeast. The yeast helps to break down the protein lectin. Lectins can be a culprit for a great variety of health issues. In contrast, since 1950, yeast in North America has been replaced with the rising agent transglutaminase. Transglutaminase is also known as “meat-glue”; it is being used as a binding agent to “glue together” ground meat and seafood. According to Dr. Steven Gundry, transglutaminase makes us more sensitive to gluten. And to make matters worse, transglutaminase is apparently also being used in gluten free products. No wonder so many people are having trouble these days digesting bread, assuming they are gluten-sensitive when in fact, gluten is not the offender.
The need to continuously educate ourselves is of utmost importance. Unfortunately we cannot rely on or trust government and industry to make decisions that are in our best interest.

Surreal is a good word to describe the happenings in the world right now. But to me, the weather today was just as surreal. I was so happy to move my office outside for a few hours – until my hands got too cold. What a blessing. I encourage each one of you to spend as much time as possible outside. Nature truly has the gift to nurture our entire being including our soul and spirit, and support us through these times.
Cheers,
Gudrun

I am happy to see how many of you are expressing an interest in the bread. This bread is pretty well the only bread I eat anymore. Even though the list of ingredients looks overwhelming, it really only takes 1/2 hour to prepare prior to the baking process. Following are my feedback and additional pointers.
– While the first 6 ingredients (sunflower seeds to amaranth seeds) are toasted in the oven, combine the remaining ingredients (oats to sea salt) – easy!
– Mix together and add liquid – done!
– As I am preparing the dried ingredients, I mix a second batch already to store in the fridge in two separate containers. This means every second loaf takes only 15-20 minutes to prepare.
– GLUTEN: I know of many people who react severely to gluten and they are able to enjoy this bread without any problems.
– INGREDIENTS: all of them can be easily found in Grande Prairie, I buy mine at the health food store but I am sure you can find most of them at other grocery stores as well.
– MOISTURE: I have never encountered this problem. Once you mix the wet ingredients into the dry ones, the “dough” will be quite moist. If you find it is “wet”, you can add a few extra oats for example. You may need to let the bread sit a bit longer before baking it. This step cannot be cut short. I would say, the bread needs at least 10 hours in the bread pan before baking. Make sure the oven is hot enough and that you bake it long enough. I bought a glass baking pan that is longer and narrower (10 x 4.5 inches) compared to the regular size ones.
Hope this helps.
ENJOY.
