Let’s change this world – one by one. I am asking all of you to use my Facebook page to share POSITIVE experiences in life, acts of kindness, things you are grateful for etc. – no matter how small or large. It could be something as simple as a smile you extended or received.
Anything that creates joy, love, peace, support and happiness even if just for a short moment; in the long run all these positive accounts make the world a happier and healthier place to be.
We can make a positive difference! Let’s create a powerful, positive virus!
Joy, peace, love, health and happiness for all,
Gudrun
P.S. The book Hidden Messages in Water by Masaru Emoto is a great example of the power of thought, emotions or any form of energy on life.
– the more tools we have the greater the challenges and breakdown in communication – with consequences reaching way beyond what we might imagine.

Ever wondered about the safety and accuracy of mammograms? Are you aware of possible alternatives such as breast thermography?
Please pass on the following information on to as many women as possible.
Contact Cindy at: thermographynorthernbc@gmail.com for more information or to book an appointment.
What is BREAST THERMOGRAPHY?
Breast Thermography is a form of breast screening using digital infrared imaging. No squeezing of breasts required, no radiation yet very reliable in early detection of abnormal breast tissue. It provides the earliest evidence of breast disease with an accuracy of 90%. This means in 90% of the cases the scan accurately indicates presence or absence of dis-ease. It shows the function, physiology and metabolism of breast tissue and gives a picture of the cell activity in breast tissue. Usually, abnormal cells like cancer cells are hotter than normal cells. A breast thermography scan shows the heat (temperature) difference between normal breast tissue and problematic areas.
Breast thermography is a very reliable tool in early detection for abnormal cell development; however a small percentage of cancers are non-hypervascular which means they do not produce extra heat.
MAMMOGRAMS
Mammograms on the other hand use x-rays to detect a mass. X-rays don’t pass through the mass as easily as through normal breast tissue. Mammograms work best for soft post-menopausal breast tissue and for slow growing tumors. They are not effective for young, dense breast tissue, large breasts, fibro-cystic breasts, breasts with breast implants, pregnant and breast feeding women as well as women on hormone replacement therapy. The rate of false-positive readings with about 25% is high (suggested disease where there is none) as is the false negative rate of about 20% (missed tumors).
Dr. Mercola (www.mercola.com) has an article about mammograms providing a wealth of information.
EDUCATE YOURSELF ABOUT YOUR OPTIONS AND THEN DECIDE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU!
I have escaped to work without interruptions on my next big project – the revision of BACH FLOWERS UNFOLDING, hopefully to be released later this year as part of an amazing book.
Edward Bach, just like Mother Teresa, had the strong desire to ease suffering and has left a legacy behind that lives on.
Bach Flowers are an amazing healing tool with their effects often being underestimated.
“The action of these remedies is to raise our vibrations and open up our channels for the reception of our Spiritual Self, to flood our natures with the particular Virtue we need, and wash out from us the fault which is causing harm. They are able like beautiful music, or any gloriously uplifting thing which gives us inspiration, to raise our very natures, and bring us nearer to our Souls: and by that very act, to bring us peace, and relieve our sufferings.” Edward Bach
The need for the revision arises because of the changes in the Earth. As the vibrational frequencies have increased the Bach Flowers (as well as other plants) are bringing forth new information.
For anyone not familiar with BACH FLOWERS UNFOLDING please go to my website www.rainbowhealing.ca for more information.
As always, green blessings.
Only now do I understand how blessed I was to have spent time with Mother Teresa in Calcutta during my travels through India in 1974/75. As her legacy continues, so do her words and wisdom, even today, help make the world a better place to be.
“LOVE has a hem to her garment that reaches the very dust. It sweeps
the stains from the streets and lanes, and because it can, it must.”
– Mother Teresa

Another one of my favorite recipes, packed with valuable nutrition that is easily absorbed. As always be creative and adjust the recipe to your individual needs and favourite flavours. Great snack to bring to a pot luck which is guaranteed to be enjoyed by all regardless of age.
Ingredients:
1 part (cup) raw chia seeds
2 parts (cups) high quality water, high quality juice or my preference, 1cup water and 1 cup juice
Chopped fresh or frozen fruits (apples, pears, mangoes, berries, etc.) – adjust type variety of fruit and amount to personal preference; I add lots
Optional: seeds, raisins, nuts, goji berries etc.
Instructions:
Soak all seeds, raisins, goji berries and nuts for about 2 hours (not necessary but preferable for enhanced absorption of nutrients).
Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
Chill in fridge, freezer or right now in the snowy winter wonderland.
The mixture will jell by itself because Chia seeds can absorb an incredible amount of liquid.
Serve and enjoy
The Latin name for Chia is Salvia hispanica, a flowering plant that is native to central and southern Mexico and Guatemala. It is a flowering plant that belongs to the mint family (Laminaceae). It is rich in calcium, manganese, phosphorus and a great source of healthy omega-3 fats and protein. Check the internet for a more complete description.
February 26-28 and March 4-6

Don’t know why or what about,
Let your feet reveal the answer,
Find the sore spot, work it out.”

Jack Canfield (co-author of “Chicken Soup for the Soul” books) shared a lot of valuable information at a workshop I recently attended.

The New Year is here
Let’s welcome it with a great cheer
Let’s raise our hopes in a confident toast
May love, peace and happiness spread from coast to coast
Life is like a gigantic and beautiful ocean
It can be calm and still but is always in motion
If the wind is howling and the seas are rough
We might feel lost and feel life is too tough
Always remember you have what it takes to fly
Just spread your wings and try
You have what it takes to fulfill your dreams
Stay true to your spirit and life will flow like a beautiful stream
May love, peace and hope fill the heart of every single soul
May tranquil moments bless all and keep our spirits whole
May humankind awaken and create many paradigm shifts
So that all spirits rejoice and undue burdens and challenges lift
The Earth, our Mother, needs our loving and caring support
Let’s re-connect so we may harmonize in accord
May healing of all aspects for all life become true
So our children may have a happy, healthy future too
January 2016, Gudrun Penselin
I treat every recipe just as my clients as an individual creation that requires a custom tailored, creative approach.
So I suggest you use the following recipe as a guideline and add your own personal twist to it.
CRUST
In a food processor process the nuts and coconut
Add dates (and other dried fruits if desired)
Process until mixture forms coarse lumps and sticks together when pressed in a pie plate
NOTE: The texture depends on the type of nuts used; if the mixture is too dry you can add a little bit of water or organic juice.
Press crust into pie plate
FILLING
Drain the dried mango
Combine both the fresh and dried mango in a blender and blend until it has a smooth, pudding like consistency
Pour into pie crust
Decorate with fresh fruit – have fun creating your own Mandala; in the summer you can add fresh flowers such as Borage Violet or Wild Rose flowers
Keep in the fridge
Serve as is or with whipping cream sweetened with maple syrup. YUMMY!
