A day to remember to be grateful for and appreciate all we have;
A day to remember all those who are less fortunate than we are;
A day to remember to give thanks not just on Thanksgiving Day but every day;
A day to remember to send love, light and healing like star dust to every part of the world.

A little history: I remember from my childhood in Germany that Thanksgiving (“Erntedankfest”) was about the celebration of the fall harvest. Churches were decorated with autumn crops and in school we would create beautiful food baskets and deliver them to senior citizen homes.
